I think a lot. That’s the biggest of my problems. I think too much and don’t even feel the half of it. I don’t remember when, but some day long ago I forbid myself from feeling, and told myself to be more rational, to think. And now? Some people say they like the sound of my laughter, but it’s because I don’t do it so often. Some friends’ think they know me… but all they can see is a reflection of them I made to make them feel more comfortable.
And now… I have made some mistakes, or better, I made the same mistake too many times. And it’s really hard to come out and say that I failed, that all this time I have been so very wrong. That I’m weak. That I’m scared.
Admitting your mistakes is something a man should do, right? But they never told me that growing up meant so much more. That your life, your own life, would be based on your decisions, that those decisions might be hard, that the harder ones might end up hurting you.
So here I am now, trying to find a way out of my hard shell. Trying to feel more, in a moment when I need to be rational. How am I supposed to be the rock in which so many people lay on, when there are so many scars inside? How am I supposed to write about love, to really love, when love for me is nothing but a game? Oh yes, there’s a little mind theater I keep for love, with puppets I can move around, crush, fix and crush again. Because its safe that way, that way is just a game, and I wont get hurt. And besides… who could ever love someone with so little to offer? I am incapable of let go of my desires.
Don’t think I’m going to kill myself; because life has way too many meaning for me and death means just “end”. I write this because I need to, writing is the only way I can really express myself so far. I write this cause there’s someone who is going to read this, and will maybe understand me a little better, as I understood her a couple days ago. And I write this because when this big mistake is solved, I want to remember that right now, I feel angry and ashamed of myself, and those are feeling. I’m on the way to feel happy.
